Delivery Insurance & Policy Information
Same day deliveries are covered on our own vehicles up to the value of £15,000 per vehicle. What’s more, there’s no additional charge or excess fee.
Standard Overnight Liability Cover (SLC)
Your parcel will be automatically covered by our in-house insurance up to the value of £13.00 per kilo. This is subject to a £50.00 excess charge.
In the unlikely event your parcel is damaged or go missing your claim should be submitted within three working days of dispatch to ensure payment. In order to make a claim, the parcel must be signed for as damaged on arrival by the recipient.
Increased Liability Cover (ILC)
If you want to send high value goods such as computer equipment, phones or cameras we always recommend taking out Increased Liability Cover (ILC). This will cover the full value of your goods in the unlikely event of them being lost or damaged and is not subject to an excess charge.
In order to make a claim the parcel must have been signed for as damaged on arrival and the claim must be submitted within three working days of dispatch.
Increased Liability Cover Charges
Value up to £1000: charge £5
Value up to £2000: charge £7.50
Value up to £3000: charge £10
Goods Not Eligible for Increased Liability Cover (ILC) & SLC
There are many items that we cannot offer ILC & SLC on although we may be able to carry at your own risk. This is not an exhaustive list so we always advise contacting us to check any goods you may wish to send.
